GIBSON ES-335 DOT SATIN CHERRY
Well, what a beauty this is. A pre loved Gibson ES-335 Dot finished in gorgeous satin cherry. This was made in the USA in 2019 and is complete with original Gibson hard case, all case candy plus strap.
There are certain guitars that stand the test of time and with its timeless design, effortless playability and rich history, it's easy to see why the Gibson ES-335 remains such an iconic guitar. The Gibson ES-335 Satin is a really great addition to this legendary line.
Featuring a 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body, it's finished in a classic Satin Faded Cherry. Delivering a rich and authentic tone, the ES-335 is super resonant and beautifully balanced; it just oozes that real Gibson mojo.
The neck is something special, crafted from Mahogany; it features a gorgeous bound Rosewood fingerboard, embellished with pearloid dot inlays. With 22 frets and a 24.75" scale length it feels smooth and comfortable, equally at home playing slick lead work or heavy chord strumming this guitar can do it all.
A pair of Calibrated T Type humbuckers delivers those classic '60s tones, deep, rich and resonant they offer great clarity. These PAF style pickups are slightly underwound and feature unbalanced coils for a truly rich historic tones.
This stunner has been upgraded with Monty’s Guitars oil capacitors.
A 0.022uf on the bridge pickup and a 0.015uf on the neck pickup as reccomended by Monty’s.
It’s in fantastic condition having only been used at home and never gigged. There’s a few tiny marks here and there but I had to really look for them. I have seen a lot worse hung up on dealers walls!
Looks, sounds and plays absolutely beautifully. There really is something magical about a good 335.
