Perhaps the most stunning Telecaster style guitar ever made? We think so... A simply magical guitar that's been incredibly hand crafted by Pensa in their USA Custom Shop. This is the only new MK-PT available in the UK and perhaps even Europe.
The MK-PT started as a Tele style body shape with classic Pensa MK specifications. Because it has a thinner body top, a wider selection of wood choices was available to us. This guitar was originally to be a one-off design but quickly became a player favorite. The MK-PT comes stock with a beautifully figured Claro Walnut top with Ivoroid binding over a Black Korina body, and neck topped off with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard. Hand wound Gemini single-coil pickups, and a vintage Tele style bridge plate with Gotoh in-tune saddles. In fact this is the same spec as Mark Knopflers latest Pensa.
